The Summer School Program gives students the opportunity to discover France and Europe every year in June and July. This program is an academic, cultural and educational 4 week long trip for aspiring students from all around the globe and started in Metz, France with informative lectures and company visits.
Next stop was Brussels where they visited the European Commission. Luxembourg was the next city on the list where they were able to see the European Court of Justice. After that they went to Stuttgart to the Fraunhofer Institute of Industrial Engineering, as well as to the Mercedes-Benz Museum of Automobile History. The students also had some free time to explore Bavaria’s capitol, Munich.
During the third week of summer school they finally visited the ICN Campus Nürnberg. Besides attending educational lectures, they had the chance to visit the Documentation Center of the Third Reich, and Thomann Music & Sound technology distribution. In the nearby city Bamberg the students saw the medieval town which is part of the UNESCO world heritage.
On their way back to France, to the main ICN Campus in Nancy, they stopped by at the AUDI manufacturing plant Neckarsulm. During the last week in Nancy, they’ll have a company visit to STAN Institute for robotic surgery training and to the brewery Champigneulles, depending of which track the students chose, Management or Marketing. The last stop at the end of the summer school will be the famous city of love, Paris.
We hope you liked our campus in Nürnberg and maybe we will see some of you back again to the semester start.
